Having succesfully 'started again' with my return to thermal soaring, I decided to get a second glider to my Radian. Wanting a larger glider I opted for the BNF (Bind and Fly) Diamond 2500.
A larger span (2.5m) I just needed to fit a receiver and I was away. This glider is significantly heaver than the Radian and has ailerons and flaps. The wing loading is higher and wheras the Radian is good to about 10 knot wind, the Diamond is good for double that and at that wind speed it is verging on it not being fun.
