• understands that they have made mistakes in their life,
• believes that Jesus is God's son, and was sent to rescue them,
• believes that Jesus died in their place, to pay the penalty for their mistakes,
• has accepted that sacrifice of Jesus personally
• welcomes the Holy Spirit to be a guide and helper to them, as they
• seek to be obedient to Jesus and carry out his commands, and
• believes that after death, they will have eternal life with God.
